How do I sell with Vindress?

Your wedding dress will always have a special place in your heart.

But in this day and age everything is getting more expensive, your attic is getting fuller and the environment is becoming more and more polluted.

At Vindress you can offer your wedding dress or the outlet dresses of your (bridal) shop to earn money, make space and save the environment.

  1. Make 5-10 pictures
  2. Create a listing and fill in the specifications
  3. Pay for Standard or Premium using our secure checkout
  4. Communication with the Seller
  5. Order your article or make a free appointment with the seller

Shipping costs?

You need to deliver the article for free to the buyer. The shipping costs are € 25,- on average so you need to include this amount of money into the selling price.

Delivery time?

Deliver within 10 working days in Europe, with Track & Trace. You can use a tool like Sendcloud to create a shipping label or bring your article to a local post office and create a shipping label from there.

Returns?

As a Seller on Vindress you need to accept returns in the whole Europe within 5 working days for free. Return costs are about € 25,- on average. To lower the change on a return you can make a free appointment with a customer in one of our affiliated local stores.

Refunds?

As a Seller on Vindress you need to refund money within 10 working days.

What is your return policy?

Sellers on Vindress have agreed to a 5 business day return policy. If you receive the wedding dress or bridal accessory at home, you have 5 working days to view it, try it on and discover any damage. If you want to return the wedding dress, the seller is responsible for the shipping label. You can also agree that the seller will reimburse the shipping costs incurred by bank transfer.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, most sellers on Vindress sell internationally. This is clearly indicated in the description for each item. The shipping costs are free.

What is your cancellation policy?

Sellers on Vindress have agreed to a 5 business day cancellation policy. If you receive the wedding dress or bridal accessory at home, you have 5 business days to view it, try it on and discover any damage. If you want to cancel the wedding dress, the seller is responsible for the shipping label. You can also agree that the seller will reimburse the shipping costs incurred by bank transfer. Cancellations are free for buyers.

What is your return policy for international buyers?

Sellers on Vindress have agreed to a 5 business day cancellation return policy for international buyers too. If you receive the wedding dress or bridal accessory at home, you have 5 business days to view it, try it on and discover any damage. If you want to cancel the wedding dress, the seller is responsible for the shipping label. You can also agree that the seller will reimburse the shipping costs incurred by bank transfer. Returns are free for international buyers.

What happens if I receive my dress and something is wrong?

Sellers on Vindress have agreed to a 5 business day return policy. If you receive the wedding dress or bridal accessory at home, you have 5 working days to view it, try it on and discover any damage. If something is wrong and your would like to return the item, the seller is responsible for the shipping label. You can also agree that the seller will reimburse the shipping costs incurred by bank transfer. Or the seller can give a discount over bank transfer.

How do I know that a used dress will look how it says it will?

We encourage sellers to upload photos and videos as clearly as possible. This way the buyer gets the clearest possible picture of the item and reduces the chance of disappointment.

How am I protected?

Sellers on Vindress have agreed to our platform’s policies. This means that you are protected against fraud and only pay once you have received the product. In addition, you have 5 working days to assess the product and possibly return it free of charge.

Do I need to clean a used dress or is it already professionally cleaned?

When a seller uploads an item on our website, they must indicate whether the item has been professionally cleaned or not. If this is not the case, you can discuss this via the chat and ask if the seller still wants to have the item cleaned.

Who pays for shipping?

The seller pays for (international) shipping.

Do you guarantee that my dress will be available?

As long the item is online, it’s available. Also contact the seller first through our site before making an offer.

Is it risky to buy a used wedding dress?

No, sellers on Vindress have agreed to a 5 business day cancellation and return policy. Sellers who don’t follow our policies are blocked on the platform.

How long does shipping take?

The average shippign takes 5-10 days, depends on the location of the buyer and the seller.

Will I have to alter the dress?

You can try on the wedding dress or bridal accessory after receipt and return it free of charge within 5 days.

Can we meet to try on a dress?

No, Vindress is a online-only platform at the moment.

Can I resell the dress after I wear it or alter it?

Yes of course. Once you have bought the wedding dress or accessory from the seller, it is yours and you can choose to resell it.

Can I buy more than 1 dress at once?

Sure you can buy multiple items in the same order.
